{"id":116,"date":"2006-11-17T09:38:15","date_gmt":"2006-11-17T13:38:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/section30.com\/?p=116"},"modified":"2006-11-17T09:38:15","modified_gmt":"2006-11-17T13:38:15","slug":"docs-week-11-picks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/section30.com\/?p=116","title":{"rendered":"Doc&#8217;s Week 11 Picks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m dedicating this week&#8217;s picks to my good friend Buck over at Statefans Nation.\u00c2\u00a0 My picks are in bold; the home team will be the one after the word &#8220;at,&#8221; just in case that is confusing for any of you.<\/p>\n<p>Ohio state and Michigan play this week?!?!\u00c2\u00a0 Where have I been?\u00c2\u00a0 Why hasn&#8217;t there been any coverage of this?\u00c2\u00a0 Isn&#8217;t this like a really big game or something?\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Oakland at <strong>Kansas City<\/strong> (-10)<br \/>\nNo way the Raiders cover two weeks in a row.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Indianapolis<\/strong> (-1.5) at Dallas<br \/>\nI know they had that huge win in Tempe last week, but Dallas can&#8217;t win two in a row and they won&#8217;t cover either.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cincinnati<\/strong> at Saints (-3.5)<br \/>\nBrees &amp; Co. should beware.\u00c2\u00a0 The Bengals faced FJ last week; after that, this game should be a Brees.\u00c2\u00a0 (I didn&#8217;t even force that either, just came to me.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pittsburgh<\/strong> (-3.5) at Cleveland<br \/>\nSince all the Cleveland fans will likely be dead or arrested after Saturday&#8217;s game in Columbus, the home field advantage won&#8217;t help much here.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tennessee at <strong>Philadelphia<\/strong> (-13)<br \/>\nJust keep throwing it to Stallworth, my new keeper!!\u00c2\u00a0 Eagles roll.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Atlanta<\/strong> at Baltimore (-4)<br \/>\nLooks like Ray Lewis is out, so Dunn might be able to run more effectively to set up the pass for the greatest QB in the history of football to complete 34% of his passes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>St Louis<\/strong> at Carolina (-6.5)<br \/>\nI&#8217;m weary of the Cats for a second straight week.\u00c2\u00a0 This pits two great WRs.\u00c2\u00a0 The Rams cover because it&#8217;s back to being all about Kasay.<\/p>\n<p>Buffalo at <strong>Houston<\/strong> (-2)<br \/>\nA-Train!!!!\u00c2\u00a0 Unfortunately, it won&#8217;t be enough.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New England<\/strong> (-5.5) at Green Bay<br \/>\nNo way Brady loses three in a row.\u00c2\u00a0 And since Farve had no INTs last week, he&#8217;s even more due for a handful.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Washington<\/strong> at Tampa Bay (-3.5)<br \/>\nCampbell versus Gradkowski.\u00c2\u00a0 NFL excitement!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chicago<\/strong> (-6.5) at Jets<br \/>\nOk, Ben.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;m listening to you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minnesota<\/strong> at Miami (-3.5)<br \/>\nOh, the drama.\u00c2\u00a0 A once dominant QB in Minneapolis is now the washed-up backup in Miami&#8230;\u00c2\u00a0 There&#8217;s a 15-minute segment for NFL Countdown in here somewhere.\u00c2\u00a0 I really hope Stu Scott does it, too.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Detroit<\/strong> at Arizona (-3.5)<br \/>\nUm&#8230;listen, I&#8217;m in a playoff race in ESPN.\u00c2\u00a0 I have Boldin and Edge.\u00c2\u00a0 Yes, I know I&#8217;m an idiot, that&#8217;s beside the point.\u00c2\u00a0 This is a good week for those two to help me out.\u00c2\u00a0 But I know that won&#8217;t happen, so Lions roll.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seattle<\/strong> (-4.5) at San Francisco<br \/>\nNFC West football.\u00c2\u00a0 Outstanding.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>San Diego<\/strong> at Denver (-2.5)<br \/>\nDid you ever know that you&#8217;re my Hero\/And everything I would like to be\/something something something\/You are the wind beneath my wings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Giants<\/strong> at Jacksonville (-3.5)<br \/>\nFuck Brandon Jacobs.\u00c2\u00a0 Giants recover as Jax continues to slip.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m dedicating this week&#8217;s picks to my good friend Buck over at Statefans Nation.\u00c2\u00a0 My picks are in bold; the home team will be the one after the word &#8220;at,&#8221; just in case that is confusing for any of you.
